20UNDER40
While he was still soliciting chapters for the book, we contacted Edward P. Clapp to let him know how much we loved his idea for 20UNDER40 – 20 essays by artists and administrators under 40 full of ideas for how the arts field can move swiftly and smartly into the 21st century. When Edward decided to self-publish, true to the DIY spirit of the arts community, he called on us to do publicity outreach to the audience we understood: arts media, bloggers, influencers, and organization leaders. The approach was 100% grassroots, heavily weighted toward the blogosphere, social media, and existing artistic networks, culminating in launch events in both Boston and New York.
